How to Send your new EPUB to your Kindle Library

The process of sending an .EPUB file to your Kindle library is very simple.

But if you're in doubt, no worries! I created the video above to guide you through it, or you can read along for written instructions!

  1. First, you'll need to download your .EPUB file (if you haven't already)
  2. Next, you'll need to know what your "Send to Kindle" email address is. This is the key ingredient to the whole process and it's the trickiest part. If you don't know what the email address is for your device, you can look it up two ways:Through Amazon, go to your Account > Manage Your Content & Devices > Preferences > Personal Document Settings.Through your Kindle app on your device, go to Settings > Send-to-Kindle E-mail Address (yeah, this one is easy)
  3. Finally, attach your .EPUB file to an email* and send it to the "Send to Kindle" email address. That's it!

Your .EPUB file will be converted and put into your Kindle library automatically and you'll be able to read it on the go!

*Note, the email address you send the file from needs to be on the Approved Personal Document E-mail List, which can be found and edited in the same place as Personal Document Settings. If you're sending it from the same email as the one you use for your Amazon account, it should already be there.
